Geography

Geography is the study of the interactions between man and nature.
As part of the GCE ‘A’ Level H1 and H2 syllabuses, all Geography students will study the following topics:

At YJC, we want our Geography students to see the world through a geographical lens – appreciating the spatial and temporal intricacies of global physical and human environments. In order to develop a deep appreciation for the world around us, the Geography Unit has put in place an exciting programme that includes overseas fieldtrips, participation in academic competitions, career and enrichment talks, and fieldwork activities.

There are myriad possibilities for those with a background in Geography because of the critical and creative thinking the subject instils. Geography teaches you how to solve problems, write and research, analyse patterns and trends and many more useful and transferable skills!
